Hey Angelo,
Great forum you found here, so let me ask you this, is this a way were your visitors can come and chat with each other and get a hold of you? If so, is it within your own site? I’m thinking on adding a forum on my site but I’m still not quite sure which one. Let me know if this works for you because I might integrated with mine.

Good work on the research in finding a good forum for your web peeps. If your people can’t reach out to you in a reliable fashion, they’ll be gone! Keep up posted on your results — I know a couple other people are attempting a discussion area. Keep up the good work!

Angelo, your About this site page is great. You have great information about why you want to have this web site and that everyone is welcome to it. You want to include everyone and get feedback from them, that is a great way to learn all aspects of the business.

Don’t forget what we read in this week’s reading + quiz. It’s great to invite people back to your site, but it’s even better to invite them to subscribe to your RSS feed. That way people will automatically be notified when your site is updated, and with a site like yours they will want to come back to see all the new goodies!

Your about me/site paragraph seems like you’re really going to be doing something new and innovative, it just seems like a lot to read when the page loads. It might help a little to break the paragraph up into sections of what you are describing or just put a few hard returns in it.

Angelo,

Congrats on getting the domain name you wanted. Using CREATIVITY and having it rotate to show that no matter how you look at it is the same is very creative, but having it rotate every 15 seconds might turn your users off. Personally when there is something flashing or moving and I see it in my peripheral vision is frustrating and I want to turn it off. So maybe only having it move when they first get to your site, or when they move to another page?

Hey Angelo,

A group I am in is having the design versus content debate. One guy gets that you go to a website to use it, not appreciate as fine art and has been working with me on content. The other guy keeps saying that whats to do each step of the process one at a time and doesn’t want to talk about content until the design is done. It is getting kind of annoying.

First I think you changed your theme here, looking nice, the red definitely pops. I think the image of the iceberg is a nice way to look at blog and site design in general. There is a lot of work people wont see.
