Hey! This is a comment that I left on Meagan’s branding post but I thought really tied in to something we’re all confronting – take it as you wish. – there’s this book that I perpetually read called The 48 Laws of Power – and one of the laws, law #6 is “Court Attention At All Cost.”
It states that – “Everything is judged by its appearance; what is unseen counts for nothing. Never let yourself get lost in the crowd, then, or buried in oblivion. Stand out. Be conspicuous, at all cost. Make yourself a magnet of attention by appearing larger, more colorful, more mysterious than the bland and timid masses.
However, the reversal for this law is only if you’ve risen to the top and people are getting tired of a repetitive tactic you’re using – so always stay fresh? Anyways, I found it to be interesting and it seemed to tie in.
